Ecohort Pty Ltd offers the following range of bushland restoration contracting services using our team of professional, trained and experienced staff:
- Bushfire asset protection zone establishment and maintenance.
- Weed spraying & target weeding of noxious and environmental weeds
- Project specific seed & vegetative material collection & supply. - Quick-planting of all plant container sizes & in all situations, our niche market includes the reconstruction of native plant communities, (including endangered ecological communities).
- All aspects of revegetation site preparation
- Local native plant supply, using Ecohort’s specialist nursery subcontractors.
- Designing, supplying and installing a range of irrigation systems for revegetation projects.
- Direct seeding native grasses.
- Brushmatting, translocation & transplanting of bush topsoils, grassy groundlayer sod, monocot plantlets, wetland plants, native shrubs and other plants.
- Consulting Services, including: vegetation & bushland management plans; GIS mapping of weeds and native vegetation; professional advice on all aspects of bushland and vegetation management, including specifications for bush regen/weed control/reveg projects that use local native plant material; and flora surveys.
We undertake this work throughout the greater Sydney region, including western Sydney, coastal and Sydney sandstone areas, the Illawarra, Wollondilly and Southern Highlands; Central Coast, and Blue Mountains. We have most experience in the western Sydney area.
